Sunday school is an important part of the life of Northwest Hills UMC. We currently have 11 different classes at 10:00 a.m. Each class studies a variety of subjects, in a variety of ways. They are also made up of different demographics. As a guest, the pastors or ushers are a great resource to direct you to a class that may be right for you. You can try all of them! Every class is welcoming guests!
Sunday Seminars
Around four times a year the pastors offer a two week Sunday Seminar on a variety of Biblical topics/books. These seminars are meant to attract those without a Sunday School Class that are interested in a brief study. We have had Seminars on Ecclesiastes and the uniqueness of the Gospel of John.
Dan Davidson Civic Forum
In the Dan Davidson Civic Forum, invited community leaders speak regarding the role of NWHills UMC in the neighborhood and city. The Forum honors former City Manager, Dan Davidson, a highly regarded church member, who died in 2007. The Forum talks are structured to educate church members on the challenges facing our neighbors and to identify where and how to address them.
