Pastor Charlie Baskin, Senior Pastor

Rev. Charlie Baskin was appointed to Northwest Hills UMC June of 2010. Previously, he served Mission UMC for 9 years and Shiner UMC for over 3 years. Charlie received his Master of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology and was ordained in 2001. He attended Texas A&M for both his undergrad and graduate degree, receiving a Masters in Civil Engineering.

He has been married to his wife Heidi for 23 years. She has a passion for prayer ministry, music, and they both share a passion for gardening. They also have three dogs which they consider their kids, Blessing, Pepi Joe, and Buddy.

Pastor Madeline C. Henners, Associate Pastor

Rev. Madeline Carrasco Henners was appointed to Northwest Hills UMC as an Associate Pastor in June of 2007. She received her Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School and recently became an ordained Elder of the Southwest Texas Conference.

She completed her BA in Religious Studies from Southwestern University where she also played for their golf team. Madeline has been married to David, an architect from Liverpool for 5 years. The story of how they met is better shared over lunch!

Pastor Kim Ethridge, Associate Youth Minister

Rev. Kim Ethridge was appointed to Northwest Hills UMC June of 2011 as an Associate Pastor for Youth and also to plant the seeds for college ministry. She graduated from Talbot School of Theology in La Mirada, Ca, and earned an MA in Biblical and Theological Studies and she also took courses at Perkins and Asbury seminary to qualify for ordination in the United Methodist Church.

She met her husband Gary in Chinhae, South Korea who was serving in the U.S. Navy and got married during her junior year in college. After she received her BA in English at Kyung-Nam University, they moved to Long Beach, Ca., and she worked in the marketing industry for 7 years. Kim and Gary are very grateful for their three children, Daniel(16), Ryan(11) and Elbie grace (5). Kim is excited to serve people of God and proclaim the Good News!!
